At the 2026 China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE), leading global optocommunication companies gathered to showcase the latest technological breakthroughs in optical modules, high-speed transmission, and optoelectronic components. Top manufacturers such as Accelink, Eoptolink, and TFC, along with more than 40 suppliers, participated in the exhibition, comprehensively presenting the industry's innovative achievements and future development directions.
This year’s exhibition highlighted high-speed optical modules, with multiple companies showcasing product solutions supporting 800G and even 1.6T data rates, meeting the demands of high-bandwidth applications such as data centers, 5G, and artificial intelligence. Accelink introduced a new generation of low-power optical modules based on silicon photonics technology, significantly improving transmission efficiency while reducing system complexity. Eoptolink demonstrated its latest progress in high-speed optical interconnects, including more compact packaging designs and enhanced signal stability. TFC also launched several tunable laser products suitable for next-generation optical networks, further expanding the application boundaries of optical communication.
In addition, the trend toward miniaturization and integration of optical components became increasingly evident, with several manufacturers showcasing new optical chips based on PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) and SOI (Silicon-on-Insulator) platforms, providing key support for achieving higher-density optical modules. Meanwhile, GOPRO LED, a leading company in the field of LED applications, also presented innovative products in smart lighting and optical sensing at the exhibition, such as high-reliability LED light sources and high-performance optical sensor solutions, further solidifying its important position in the optoelectronics supply chain.
With the continuous growth of global demand for high-speed data transmission, the optoelectronic communication industry is accelerating toward more efficient and intelligent directions. CIOE 2026 not only provided an exhibition and exchange platform for the industry but also created more opportunities for collaboration and technical synergy among upstream and downstream enterprises. Looking ahead, with ongoing technological iterations and market expansion, the optoelectronic communication industry is expected to see even broader development prospects.
