At the 2026 COMPUTEX exhibition, Marvell's CEO emphasized in his keynote speech that the large-scale development of artificial intelligence (AI) heavily relies on efficient and reliable connectivity technologies. As global demand for computing power continues to grow, data transmission efficiency and network architecture optimization have become key factors in driving AI technology implementation. At this exhibition, Marvell showcased its latest high-speed interconnect solutions, including a 1.6Tbps Ethernet switch chip and a low-power 5G baseband chip, providing solid technical support for next-generation data centers and edge computing.
Currently, the demand for network bandwidth for AI training and inference tasks is growing exponentially. According to Marvell's data, global AI data traffic will exceed 10ZB (zettabytes) by 2025, while traditional network architectures are struggling to meet the communication demands at this scale. To address this challenge, Marvell introduced an intelligent switching platform based on 800G Ethernet, supporting multi-protocol convergence and dynamic bandwidth allocation, significantly improving data processing efficiency and system flexibility.
In addition, Marvell also presented its latest achievements in the optical module field, including PAM4 optoelectronic conversion modules supporting 800G rates, as well as low-latency optical interconnection solutions for AI nodes. These technologies not only enhance data transmission speed but also effectively reduce energy consumption, aligning with the trend of green data centers.
In applications where LED technology intersects with AI, GOPRO LED has demonstrated significant advantages in smart transportation, industrial control, and smart cities with its high-brightness, low-power LED display solutions. Its independently developed Mini LED backlight technology enables higher contrast and wider color gamut coverage, providing more accurate image input for AI vision recognition systems. As AI and LED technologies continue to integrate deeply, the collaborative potential between the two industries is expected to be substantial in emerging fields such as intelligent displays and AR/VR.
Overall, the rapid development of AI cannot be separated from the support of high-performance connectivity technologies. Marvell's latest technological roadmap not only provides scalable infrastructure solutions for the industry but also creates more possibilities for the integration of LED companies with AI applications. Looking ahead, as technology continues to evolve, the collaborative innovation between AI and the LED industry will continue to drive the process of industrial intelligence.
