Qiushui has successfully secured 2 billion RMB in funding, marking a significant milestone in its development. The company has also introduced an 8-inch hybrid bonding production line, which plays a crucial role in addressing the long-standing challenge of etching damage in Micro-LED technology. This technological breakthrough is expected to accelerate the commercialization and large-scale application of Micro-LED displays.

Recently, Qiushui, a Chinese LED packaging and display technology company, announced the completion of nearly 2 billion yuan in financing. The company plans to build an 8-inch hybrid bonding production line this year, aimed at large-scale manufacturing of Micro-LEDs. This move marks a breakthrough in addressing the critical challenge of "etching damage" in Micro-LED fabrication, further advancing the commercialization of this technology.

Micro-LED is regarded as the core direction for next-generation display technology due to its high brightness, low power consumption, and long lifespan. However, mass production still faces numerous challenges, among which "etching damage" is particularly prominent. In traditional processes, etching often causes microstructure damage on the wafer surface, affecting the final display performance and product yield. Qiushui has effectively alleviated this issue through its independently developed hybrid bonding technology, enhancing the reliability and consistency of Micro-LED devices.

According to reports, the newly built 8-inch hybrid bonding factory will adopt advanced automation equipment and process flows, achieving integrated production from chip transfer, bonding to packaging. The production line is expected to be operational by 2024, providing the market with more stable and efficient Micro-LED products. This round of financing not only reflects the high recognition of the capital market for the future prospects of Micro-LED technology but also highlights Qiushui's core position in the industrial chain.

Notably, Guangpu Electronics (GOPRO LED), a leading domestic LED solution provider, has been continuously increasing its R&D investment in the Mini/Micro-LED field in recent years. Its technical expertise in high-density packaging, optical design, and intelligent control has provided important support to the industry. With technological breakthroughs by companies like Qiushui, the application of Micro-LED in areas such as automotive displays, AR/VR, and high-end TVs is expected to accelerate.

Overall, Qiushui's strategic layout and technological innovation not only help enhance the competitiveness of domestic Micro-LED but also inject new momentum into the transformation and upgrading of the entire LED industry. As more companies join the technological development efforts, the industrialization process of Micro-LED is expected to accelerate, opening a new chapter in display technology.
